so how can I show the news in a non-vB page

I've been looking for something like this for a long time, and it could help me a lot. I've been wondering if there is any way for me to take news out of a specific news forum, and present, lets say the last 5, on my website home .

I've seen a couple of websites do it but can't seem to understand why, I searched for "news" and found too many irrelevant results, can anyone pin-point an exact solution?

Thanks, but I was asking how to create a login page in a non-vBulletin page. Does anyone have a clue?

I believe you use vBExternal, but im trying to figure out how to use it, so if anyone has any tuts that would be great.
