two issues

I hope someone can help me out on these two issues.

IE7 shows this purple line below the header menu. FF and Opera are fine.

Also, the pm message area is smaller (width) than the default size. This is odd,
because the stylvars shows 540px and I never touched the template for the pm area, aside installing GTusercp hack.

I can't help with the first since I don't have IE, but for the second it will be very hard to help you unless we can see the source code since obviously that is where the size is set.

Can anyone please assist with the purple line IE problem? I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
