posting Double attachments

Is there any kind of mod that will keep members from posting double attachments for vbulletin? I have a couple members that seem to love to race and post the same downloads and we have to go back and clean them up. I would like to see something for this vbulletin 3.6.8

This is default in vbulletin. If the attachment is identical to something they already uploaded it will stop it. Double check your attachment settings.

well that is interesting, I havent touched any of those settings, any idea what setting in particular controls this ?

Well unfortunally it only seems to check images, its under message attachment options. called allow duplicate attached images.

yea i need something that will work on files .zip and .rar extentions

I got the impression the OP was talking about two separate users rushing to post the same attachment. If that is the case, then vbulletin doesn't check for that. Here's a description for the option your were talking about:
Allow Duplicate Attached Images
If this setting is set to "No" then vBulletin will not allow the same user to post the same attachment twice. This can be used to prevent users from taking up unnecessary database space with identical attachments.

Na its different people trying to post the same files, I just need something that will keep the first post and when the second or third person trys to upload it will tell them its a duplicate post or attachment and not let them post it.
