global_start on redirect pages

I've got a plugin that is called on the global_start hook. It's basically displays an ad on the right hand side of the page. For some reason this isn't working on any of the redirect pages.

Any idea why?

I believe some actions will bypass certain things, to prevent errors.

Hmmm, OK. Guess the redirects is one of them. Anyone else got any ideas or thoughts?
