user subscriptions to threads/posts

I have a user that gets emails automatically everytime there is a thread or post made. He didnt set this up. Ive fixed it before but used a backup thats was in place before i fixed it. I know its in there but dont remember how to get to it. He is the only one with this. Its something in a permission somewhere that has him set as email when a new post is made or something like that. Any help?

Could it be under Forum Manager > select a forum he is getting emails about > Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Post (and also New Thread)?

he gets emails emails from any post or thread on the forum.

Is he listed on any of the lists at Forums & Moderators > Show all Moderators? (If so, click on Edit Permissions next to his name and then select No next to Receive Email When a New Thread is Created and Receive Email When a New Post is Created)
