Product XML Assistance Required

I am developing a small product and I need help with the product.xml file. So far, everything is perfect except for one setting entry. I need to display a forumselect list (much like you do in module.xml files, but it doesn't seem to work. I will list my current code below. Just tell me what to change. I tried looking for a place in the admincp to add this normally and then export, to see what it looked like. I seem to remember this being available at one point, but it appears to not be the case.

<datatype>free</datatype>
<optioncode>forumselect</optioncode>

You should be creating XML files via the Admin CP. Turning on Debug Mode.
