Well that took me two days to think of an efficient way to keep server load down (meant no extra useage of javascript), have tons of headers that aren't prerendered, and be able to change the logo on the fly for when I do contests or giveaways.

So I decided on using a rotation script written in php. I called the script into my headers as a background and then have a png 24 layered over top of it.

Only smart way to do it.

Nicely done, I like the design allot.

One suggestion would be to change the back splatter of your buttons from the black to using colors and hue matching elements of the various headers. I think it would kick it up a notch.

Well I think it probably would work if I used the same color grey as alt2. Because since I have this style in both Blue and Pink, also Green Purple and Red are coming, it would kill it to only focus on one of them.

In that case I would color code the splatter to the styles, and changing them depending on the type, ergo: reply, closed and quote......

I would do that but it keeps server load down to change it to gray. I sorta took your advice. It improved my style.

Better, I would try a little less stroke on the text, match it to the outline in your logo.
