I've installed this on 3.7 Gold...in the settings page the radio buttons do not remain checked...I hit the save button, and when it refreshes there are no groups chosen, so I logged out and logged in with a regular test account and I was able to post normally.

This is sweet! I force the new members to my community to make their first post as an introduction. Is there any way to force them to make their post in a specific forum?

Better now. The text is pretty small. How can I make it bold and pusht the entire box down a little bit to make it stand out more? It would also be beneficial to make the box smaller. My forum's style is fluid and it looks pretty ugly on a widescreen monitor.

installed!

Edit: My forums are not showing up in the pulldown when the user is asked to confirm. Could this be because of vbSEO?

This is great. I wish we had exactly the same for thread prefixes.
Please consider to add this function for prefixes as well. Either on this confirmation page or as a second step of this hack

This is a real interesting hack and close to what I would like on my forum, is it possible to adapt this to post on 2 forums at the same time by selecting two forums, this would be great because I am creating a forum for football fans, where they can pick 2 teams/forums and have a chat between themselves its called banter in the UK ? ;)

Any plans for vb 3.8.2?

Me too. I was searching for a selectable forum dropdown menu like this and finally found it. Would love to know if this is compatible with 3.8.x.

Thanks!

Found the 3.8.x version here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=201295&highlight=forum)
