i think bbcode in the template modifications area needs it's own subforum. I was surfing through all the template mods the other day, and a large number of them are bbcode. Made it a little harder to get at the stuff I actually wanted. Thoughts?

there was at maximum 10 bbcodes released on this site in the last 6 years, so i do not understand why someone would require a forum for them...

I'm gonna have to agree with Nexia too (now don't get a big head, Nexia!). I so rarely see any bbcode mods around. I have searched for some to help others out and I only come up with a handful.

Your probably correct about previous years, but now there are so many sites like youtube, and growth of video usage on the web, me thinks we will see a steady increase in its usage in bbcode. Compare that to previous years, where most of the bbcode released was html stuff, which has been the same for ages.
I had a quick look though all the template mod pages, and counted 24 bbcodes, plus two bbcode packs and that's without going though the mods. Sure, there are some duplicates like youtube, but just like in the mod forums, duplicates often do different things.
Just my thoughts.

We also noticed an increase of BB-Codes released and have just been discussing last week if it wouldn't be better to place them in a seperate forum without a vB version number (most BB-codes will work on any vB version).
This is something that we might address in one way or another (subforum/tags??) once we upgrade to 3.7.

Indeed, at the moment they have their own prefix in the add-ons section of each version.

A shame that some mods come under more than one prefix, or have a general one like 'addon releases'. I gave up using prefixes ages ago, ended up browsing manually through all modification pages for 3.6.x ><
