Default avatar/profilepic in profile 3.7.x

I always used this hack when I had 3.6.10:

But I upgraded to 3.7.0 today and I found aou this hack only works with the postbit.

So it would be very cool if somebody could make us a mod/plugin which does the same with a 3.7.0 Profile.
