Forums are found here:
http://bringtheblitz.com/community/index.php

The problem was that we are having a lot of registrations from what appears to be invalid email addresses yet somehow posting absolute GARBAGE on the forums (i.e. inappropriate links, ads, etc.) and we are wanting to better prevent that.

My first thought is some type of further verification or post requirements built in - if that's possible. What mods or enhancements have you made to your forums that have been found to work and be beneficial?

Please let us know.
Thanks!

Lynne

I use Is Bot: Registration Time Check (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=135094) and One-touch Spam Ban and Cleanup (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=156444) on my forums with a lot of success. The Is Bot one really, really helped to weed out spammers.

Wow... awesome Lynne. I just installed both and they seem to be everything I need. Thank you for showing us that!

Is Bot is awesome, but if you run a 3.7.x board with the captcha enabled maybe you don't need anything ...
