It's a combo of vBulletin, Photopost, Reviewpost and custom code to replace the default vB profiles.

the theme in the header doesn't really match the rest of the forum and what's with loads of ads right at the top?

I think the site looks great. Good work on the color scheme, the natural flow between components and mods, and a great vendor program. What system are you using for the Jeepspace, is that custom code? Also, what are you using for the vendor banner management, is that custom as well?

Looks good!

globally, the site is great... on the other side, the forum is boring... for the look of it i mean... your homepage is just what i thought would be the forum.

I agree the forums could benefit from some visual improvements, if only by replacing some of the stock vBulletin icons.
However, you do have to remember we’re talking about a Jeep here. It’s visually speaking quite neutral (boring) and robust, like currently my first impression of the site is, but it is – like the Jeep – quite optimized.

Visually, The style lacks consistency and looks terribly bland. The header isn't too bad (I've seen worse) though sticking with vectored images I would go about enhancing the look and implementing a little vibrancy. Judging by the amount of threads and posts your site is doing very well so why not buy a new style (something exclusive to your site) or maybe this is like 9/10 of members who submit their site to give it a free plug and exposure to gain more registrations.

Still with the visual aspects. Why have you kept default blue vbulletin icons with the earthy colours throughout the style? it's looks hideous to the point that visually you just don't seem to care.

The forum status icons are on the right theme, but with respects to the quality (jaggy around the curves) they lack the nice smooth quality that sites such as these should have.

On a note about the default icons and images and when i say default i mean vbulletin default. These should be changed for something custom with the right colour implemention to match this rather bland and boring style. Vbulletin default imagary and earthy colours don't compliment each other at all, but then you know this and you should atleast give something back to the dedicated members of your site a nice visual experience to match the content which must be top notch otherwise you wouldn't have so many post and an active forum.

Okay, this won't come to a surpirse to you. (thread display) I'd suggest changing the threadmarkers and default button (just change the whole button set) for something that will compliment this mediocre style.

Overall. I find that there's never an excuse for a hideous looking style for such an active forum. I'm sure your members would appreciate a visually pleasing style pending your not one of these admins which are totally money orientated. Sure, it's your site, you do as you wish but like I always say, If members have giving you an active forum give them something back.

On the home page your margins should be consistent. The LATEST BULLETIN box has nice margins, but on the news posts like "Well it only took 3 weeks..." is a little tight and below that "USERS WITH MOST MUTUAL FRIENDS" is very tight.

The forum should have a little more contrast. The black text on dark colors may be hard to read for some. Also have your logo link back to your home page.
