Running a site/need help

I own a vbulletin license and all with skin. But lately I am running vbacmps to try to create a homepage with news, navigation and all. But whenever I click add new page in the vba cmps area in the admincp after I create the page it doesnt popup. Anyone have any idea how to make my homepage a module layout and my forums the vb forums? Thanks.:D
