I'm by far not a professional on forum layouts, because I like to keep things simple. But it would be nice to see actual pictures or video of some of the Oklahoma players in action, and maybe some stats. Make users feel more connected. Otherwise it appears to be cool.

Nice and clean, only thing I'd suggest is another image on the right side to fill in the space below the helmet.
