threads missing

hoping you can help me with another prob i have never run into.

the site is up and running but im missing some threads and some posts within threads.. its very hit or miss at the moment. the orginal post in the thread is missing but then last post or two is there.. is there anything i can do to fix this?

Have you done a repair/optimize on your tables lately? Have you looked in the posts table to see if the posts exist but just aren't being displayed?

i have done repair/optimize yes..
the otehr i have never gone into . i will have to try that
