Hi guys,

I am currently using the "Bubblegum (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=133422&highlight=bubblegum)" style for our 3.6 VB forum, unfortunately the developer is no longer providing support for it so I am hoping I might be able to get some help here!

I would like to reduce our forum width (http://www.theparentingsanctuary.com.au/forums) so that it coincides with our banner, however I am not able to do this via the ACP StyleVars option because it is apparently "customised in this style". Its currently set as "auto" for the default width, and changing it to anything else (percentage or px) does not make any alterations to the forum table width.

Would anybody be able to give me a point in the right direction as to where I could change this manually? I am not sure where to look or what to change.

More than happy to post any relevant code to help find the answer!

Go to Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > find your style in the list and pick StyleVars from the dropdown menu and then the top item is Main Table Width. Set that to what you want.

As explained in my first post, that method is not working ;) Apparently it needs to be done another way.

Ah, sorry.

Go to vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > Yes Then go back to your main page and view the source code. The template name will then be shown for you.

Although, it looks like it is set to 100%. Are you sure it isn't this line in your navbar:

Actually, I think I'm not thinking at the moment (too much socializing with family tonight). It may be those, but it looks like you'll have to find several of them since a variable is not used.

Wow, well what do you know... it worked!!! Yay!! :D

One question:
How do I set a MAX width for mu forum? I do not want a MINIMUM width, just the MAXIMUM, so the table will allwys be elastic UNTIL the MAX width is reached!
