Need help uploading wordpress to root.

I need help uploading wordpress software to the root of my website. i need to do this as a blog. But whenever i try to upload an entire folder i click on it and it just opens up the folder. This is unpaid, but will someone please download the wordpress software (from wordpress.org) and upload it to the root? Post here if you will do this or PM me.

I suggest you ask your host how to use FTP and try it yourself. Better to do it yourself and learn along the way, then to hand over access details to someone else and learn nothing.

well, we have uploaded all of the wordpress files to the root and when we try to go and set it up, nothing shows up in the browser
