Hi, I seem to have a small problem, someone or something is banning members of a particular usergroup.
Searching through thr admin logs, the banner (so the ban page says) hasn't banned the person at all.
Just now, the ban page told me a registered user banned someone in that usergroup.
I've disabled all mods and it still occurs..
It's happened since I upgraded to RC3 .

The users are unalterable, in config file, but it still occurs. The users, as they are managers, are able to unban themselves in ACP though.
Look at the image below, this is happening in real-time, aka, just now:

Is that user set as admin? Like the check box for add them to extra user groups.
Go check the users profile.

Currently he is, as he's meant to be able to view all the forums.

Seems very odd, it is quite difficult to find the cause of the problem as it could be anything. Try uploading all a fresh copy of vBulletin and disable your modifications, it won't happen by itself with standard vBulletin it must be something you are doing.
Think back to if you have installed modifications or made changes recently that may have caused this. Check your control panel logs for suspicious activity.

Hi, I've already tried uploading the original files and has happened since - however, it does not seem to have happened in the past 12 hours, so I'll keep you updated :)
forget that - it's just happened :(, funny though, it's happened under th user that last edited the person's profile in acp (moving usergroups/changing usertitles)

Do you have any promotions runnings that are moving users into a banned usergroup?

Nope + they are not being moved into the banned usergroup - as seen in the pic :)

Escalating ticket as this is getting really annoying now, and does disrupt forum communications

Anyone know of any causes for this?

If you want to contact me via PM with an accessible login, I can take a look to see if I can figure things out. I really wouldn't know what else to suggest. Make sure you have no hacks running and that there are no automatic bans going on with Infractions maybe.
