Whenever I reply to a post I am being redirected to a white screen that says "completed".

Whether it's a quick reply or reply, it is happening. How do I correct this?

edit: It seems to be happening only to registered users, not admins. My registered users are also having the newest replies appear on top. How do I fix that?

I'm using RC1 btw....

Have you tried going to vboptions > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Remove Redirection Message Pages and setting that to Yes to see if the problem stops? If so, try turning off your modifications and seeing if this redirect problem still happens.

That option was set to yes by default. I'll try and see if by turning off the modifications it will work.

Can you tell me why it is that my registered users are viewing the newest replies within a post on top? As an admin I have it as a the regular method where new replies to posts automatically are added to the bottom.

could the two issues be tied to each other?

Okay. When I disable the plugins I do not get the redirect page.

Go to vboptions > User Registration Options > Default Registration Options > and Set Thread Display Mode to Linear - Oldest First. It sounds like it got set to something else which is why new users are seeing the posts newest on top.

If you disabled the plugins and the redirect page went away, then this means the problem is being caused by a plugin. So, what you want to do is turn them off one by one to try to figure out which one is causing the problem.

Hopefully it's the same one causing the rss feeds to double post.

I'll tell you how the linear -oldest first thing works.

That worked. Now I just have to figure out the redirect issue. What I don't know is why it only affects registered users?

I found out what mod was affecting the posting of new replies.

for those of you having the same issue, try disabling the vbshout pro v 2.5.

It's all good for me now.
