[IMG] to [URL] BBCode Converter (In Quotes)

Hey Guys,

This is my first Modification Request for vBulletin, I need to know if anyone can make a Mod/Hack that can Convert [img] Tags to [url] Tags when they are inside the [quote] Tag. I had previously found a working Code for it and had released it here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=155629). It was working fine in vB 3.6.8 PL2 and older versions, but with the Release of vB 3.6.9 it no longer works. All my other Mods/Hacks work fine, except this one.

Hopefully someone can come up with a New Modification and a fix for this. It would also be great if the New Modification would be via the Plugin System rather than a File Edit. However, a fix is a fix, so it doesnt matter how its made or implemented as long as it works properly. Please let me know and keep me posted. I appreciate all the help that I can get on this, thanks in advanced!

It's kind of hard for me to believe that this isn't out there already. I know next to nothing about code, but I can't imagine it being that difficult.

^ Exactly ... It sucks because the one I posted doesnt work anymore on vB 3.6.9, it works on vB 3.6.8 PL2 down ... Anyone out there?

Okay, using Spleasure's image resizer (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=118048&highlight=quoted) GenMay (http://www.genmay.com/showpost.php?p=22566527&postcount=31) forums have managed to get only quoted images to be resized into thumbnails. This isn't exactly what we're looking for, but a 100x100 thumbnail is still better than a full image, no? I'm thinking it would be nice if Spleasure's hack could be modified a bit so that it would continue doing it's normal function of resizing all images (I have all large images being sized to 600 width), but in addition it should resize quoted images to an even smaller size. I dunno, just a thought.

Nevermind, it looks like Jase2 will be adding the quoted thumbnails to the next release of the resize hack.

^ Yeah I was about to say that too, but I want to Convert [IMG] to [URL], I dont want to make them a thumbnail or anything. The main reason being that the images take up more loading time, while if they were converted to the URL then it'd be simple text and Loading wouldnt be affected ... You see my point? I got other reasons, but this is the main reason why I want a Hack that does this ...

^ It should, try it and find out. I think it might've even still worked on 3.6.9 and I was just doing it in wrong.
