Need to do some funky stuff with registration

Ok, here's my predicament.

For my forum, we have a global audience. We have an optin in the rego process to our site's newsletter. But for our Australian audience, we need to have another optin (so that's two for Aussies and only one for the rest op the world) to deal with our current partner.

Does anyone know how I could something like this?

Well, unless your IP scanning, then your not going to know who is aussie and who is not.

You can just add another custom profile field and make it a option on the reg page, but do not make it required, just an option.

Everyone would see all 3 of them, but you can make detailed field notes for each and tell the user to choose the one they want to get.

We're IP scanning and we also have an Aussie domain, so we assume anyone using that domain is from Australia.

So, any ideas on how we can do it? It's not really an option to show the optin for users who aren't from Australia....
