Is there a way to send Private Messages everytime someone replies to your thread?

Like a little box saying "Send PM when somebody replies Yes: (checkbox) No: (checkbox)" so that each time you post a thread you can click a little box above submit to keep you informed? Also if there is no mod/way what languages would I need to learn to devolope my own add-on/mod, I have CSS down and the mod file is an xml but xml doesnt seem to be very powerfull from what basic tutorials I read.

This is called "subscribing" to a thread. Just select "instant notification by email". You can set that to be the default in your UserCP.
