I'm running a heavily modded 3.6.x set of forums right now and wonder about the upgrade to 3.7.x...
Does the heavily modded 3.6.x site have the database set up a certain way that relies on all my hacks, which will break when I upgrade?

hacks usually break due to changes of hook locations, and not really database changes as much, the DB usually stays close to the same with just more and more additions from versions :D
Setup a test board with all your hacks installed and do a test upgrade before upgrading. Most 3.6 hacks are still working with 3.7 okay

Based on what you are saying....install a test board, same version as current live one....then upgrade to 3.7 and see what happens?

Another question...will the settings in my admincp be affected by the upgrade?
