Friendly URL problem

Hello,
I written on offical board, but they don't reply.
I use Zoint SEO and friendly url. My board is not english and my users use special letters (e.g. letter 'e' with small tail). I want to replace special letter to usual letters. In vBSEO it looks (in php files):
$text = str_replace( "special letter", "usual letter", $text);

Please help me...

Zoints SEO should have that option to replace accented letters.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

I written at zoints.com, but:
Zoints SEO is not a supported product. It has been released to the modification community under the lgpl license. We do not support it in any way.
