How to setup my forum like this?

I would like to know how to setup my forum so the home page is like this
www.8thcivic.com with the top 10 recent threads and site news above it.

I would also like to know how to add the little icons under the user names for VIP, moderators, supermoderators, and administrators. If you look through that site you will see what i mean

You will need to install a mod named " Vbadvanced". Once you install it you can choose what types of modules you want at your homepage. Such as, Site news, Navbar, Statistics, top 10 recent threads etc..

I would also like to know how to add the little icons under the user names for VIP, moderators, supermoderators, and administrators. If you look through that site you will see what i mean

Go to Rank manager > Add new rank. Then upload the image you want to show as the icon. Type the location of the image and other details listed on add rank thing...Then click finished and it will be there. You might need to update user title/rank for it too show.
