Cannot PM

I set a new usergroup for my vbookie. I have the permissions in the usergroup set to allow PM's and they are enabled in his profile options.

When he was in the registered user group, they worked fine, I switched him to the vBookie group and now he can't.

Any ideas?

Under the usergroup manager what do you have listed for this item "Maximum Stored Messages" See the notes underneath this option: If you set this to 0 users from this usergroup will not be able to use private messaging.
