Hi guys,
How would I go about limiting a forum by th number of posts a user has made?
I'm adding a new forum but I want a limit of 50 posts per user to reply or start new threads in it.
I don't want this to be hidden to anyone that doesnt have 50 posts either.
Is there a hack or method to achieve this?
Thanks,
Jez

You could use a promotion, once a user reaches 50 posts, they are put in an additional usergroup, give the new usergroup perms to post in the new forum and the regular users the correct perms for the new forum no posting rights.
As for users that already have 50 posts, there are a few ways to find them, add the additional usergroup to their current accounts.

How about just running the promotions scheduled task? :p
