View Full Version : Keeping Search Engine Visitors Engaged

As an experiment, I've been entering my site through a variety of search engine links. The experience seems pretty good until I get to the end of the page. Without going back to the top, there aren't a lot of links to pick from to continue browsing the site. By expanding this area for guests, I think I may be able to decrease my bounce rate.

Have you made any modifications to he bottom of your thread templates to help guide visitors to more content in your site? I'd love to know what's been successful for you.

Moving "Similar Threads" to the top above the posts in a thread (for unregistered users)decreased our bounce rate by around 5 percent.
