IT MOST PROBABLY A HACK U HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED....I HAD THIS ERROR A WHILE BACK...MY HACK WAS CYB PM...I UNINSTALLED IT AND REINSTALLED IT AND IT WORKED...

IF U 100% BELIEVE ITS NOT BC OF A HACK THAN THE BEST U DO TO DOUBLE CHECK UR THEORY IS..
disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

This will disable all hooks and allow you to log in properly with no hooks running.

THAN GO BACK AND SEE IF U STILL HAVE PM PROBLEM IF U STILL HAVE IT THAN OPEN A TICKET WITH VB AND IF U DONT HAVE IT THAN GO BACK AND ONE BYE ONE DISABLE UR HACK AND SEE WHICH ONE IS GIVING PROBLEM

HOPE THIS HELPS WISH U BEST OF LUCK

You may want to go to Maintenance and Repair/Optimize the PM table. That will usually fix things when a table is crashed.

MySQL Error : Table './wfzdatabase/pm' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Reading the error message is also helpful. Even though your problem seems to no longer persist I recommend you repair the pm table anyway, as you may have problems later on down the line.

AdminCP > Maintenance > Repair / Optimize Tables

Also documented in the vBulletin Manual: Repair / Optimize Tables (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/maintenance_repair_tables)
