I'm looking to start up a new site. Fresh VB, fresh layout, fresh everything.

There is alot that I want to do with the site, but i'm having problems deciding if i should go with 3.6 or 3.7 right now. What im wondering is, was there alot of changes made to the code of 3.7 that might make most of the 3.6 addons not work with 3.7?

Right now, i'm mostly interested in photoplog(which has some band aids to make it work), and vbadvanced(Supported), as they are very important to me, But it would be nice to have the ability to run some of the other mods as well.

You will have to check each hack/addon you want to use, most hack/addon posts will contain posts from users stating that they are running a 3.6.x hack on 3.7.x or not, just takes a little reading on your part to find out.

Most certainly! There as been a lot of new features added in 3.7. However, most hacks from 3.6 will work on 3.7 ;)

The only major issue was an array storage method used to store plugin information.

Most will work.
