I just moved 1300 threads from one forum to another - everything seems to be working fine, but the post don't show in the new forum (i checked that it is not the date issue).
Any other ideas as to what is wrong?
The forum can be found here:

If you check a level above you will see that the forum actually contain 1300 threads - but they are not showing
Please point me to somewhere to look....

Hmmm, well, I go to your link and then I go up a level and I see no Boiler Room. Perhaps you need to check the permissions on it and maybe those are what are causing the problem.

Hi Lynne,
Sorry about that - was just messing with the forums to try to get it to work...
It should show now...but the problem is the same...

Did you update any counters after you did the move?

Yep - the threads are updated, but still nothing.

Did there used to be any threads in that forum and were they showing up fine before you moved the others into there? It seems like there is an option that is turned on that is not allowing users to see threads in that forum. I would check the Forum itself in Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager and then also check user permissions for the forum under the Forum Permissions area.

No - before it was not possible to post in the forum. I can also see that it is not possible to create a new post in the forum.
However I have checked the forum setting several times without being able to figure out what is wrong....permissions as well...

I guess what I would do next is pick another forum that is acting just fine and then go a comparison of the Forum parameters between the two (in Forum > edit) and then a comparison of the Forum Permissions for a Registered User between those two forums. There has got to be some difference between them.

I have done that :)
Maybe the solution is to simply create a new forum and move the threads...
