Hi,
I want to install 2 vBulletin forum.
One will be in english, one will be in french.
I would also like to install vBadvanced for both of the forums.
www.mywebsite/fr/vbadvancedhomepage (will be the homepage of vbadvanced. "Fr" is for "french" and the name of vbadvancedhomepage wont be lke that, it's jsut to explain what i want.)
www.mywebsite/en/vbadvancedhomepage (will be the homepage of vbadvanced. "En" is for "english" and the name of vbadvancedhomepage wont be lke that, it's jsut to explain what i want.)
Like you see i would like to install 2 forum with vbadvanced for each, but one the same domain name. 1) There's no problem for that??
2) second question: as default home page (the one we reach writing www.mywebsite.com) i would like a page with 2 different flags, and clicking on it, you are redirected on the good vbadvanced homepage (and then so forum)
Is it possible to do that?
Thx for the help

If you have two vBulletin licenses, you may install twice. For multi-languages, you can add language packs that can be found on vB.com. Then choose your default language and it will allow users to choose which language they want to use.
Note: The language packs do NOT translate posts. Posts and threads and other custom content that aren't placed within the phrase system will not be translated. Also, custom modifications must be translated within the vB Phrase system for this approach to work.

If you want to use flags for english you would use the <a> tag and the <img> tag. Something like this:
<a href="/link/to/forum/index.php?langid=1"><img src="/link/to/english/flag.jpg" /></a>
That will add links.

It may work. But if you provide TWO different nozzle in TWO different languages which would provide two different sets of content, you will have to have two licenses. One for each language.

Sorry I was typing on an iPod Touch. I guess I spelled something wrong and nozzle was the closest alternative. If you provide two different sites / domain names in two different languages that deliver two different content sets, it requires two licenses.
And I cannot even think of what it was supposed to be.

One forum will bin one folder "A" that i'll called "en" (for english) and the second in a folder "b" named "fr" (for french). Each one of them wil lhave his vbadvanced hompeage. And both of them will be link if i can say by the same flag languyage selection home page that will redirect to the good forum
url will be like that:
www.mywebsite.com (for the page with flags)
www.mywebsite.com/en (for tjhe forum in english and its vbadvanced homepage)
www.mywebsite.com/^fr (for tjhe forum in french and its vbadvanced homepage)

Well, since you will have two installations, it will require two forums. It seems like the english will be english only content and french will be french only content. If you need clarification on the License Agreement, contact Jelsoft or post within their pre-sales forum. The would be able to give you an official answer.
