My Board is getting larger. And there are places where posts are nearly chat-like. (very short and not interesting at all).
So the function "new posts" lists more and more and much of it isn't interesting for people who want to read the "real" threads.
What have you done to let the people see what they want?
Thanks!
Marcel

Try Rebuilding your Search Index.
ACP --> Maintenance --> Update Counters --> Rebuild Search Index

Thanks. But my question was more about finding anything in the search results like highlighting or subscribe to forums and see new posts just out of them ...

This mod allows you to elimate some forums from your New Posts search: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=132279

Really nice. Are their possibly other methods to do the same? Or something like a complete design-change for "new posts" with a design that separates the forums?

I'm not sure what you mean. This site allows you to click on a New Posts link for the main forums. Is that what you are talking about (the Click Here to View..... link under the main forum headers is what I'm talking about)?

Yes that's correct.
Your solution is about a listing of all new posts except the forums configured with the hack.
That's one solution and with that you don't see anything of those forums again.
I'm asking myself, if there are other solutions. Like an overview of all new posts (like standard vbulletin with all forums) but with a special design where preferred forums are first.
I don't know .. perhaps there are other hacks that deal with it?
