Problem with google page rank counter

OK this is driving me nuts here..... A lot of my members are complaining tha the google pagerank system is driving their McAfee virus software nuts and not allowing them to log on my site. I didnt realize it was there, so I go to delete it and this is the standard code I find:

Its in almost all of my templates, so I do a massive find and replace to make it go away. Well, it keeps coming back every time I delete it. Whats the issue here? Has anyone else had this problem??

The only products I have on my site are the VB blog, project tools, and vbpicgallery. This is driving me nuts!

I would also drop it, even though I've never heard of it..

instead of the counter, register to GoogleAds... will do the same as a counter, and will make your search results grow even if it is not the goal, because GoogleAds crawl your entire site to show the proper ads...

the best example is my blog... not so popular, i have like 1000 unique visitors per day, i can tell half are from the googleAds referee

btw, your googlerank.info is not a single way related to google, they use this url to tease you, but there is no PR system into Google... not that kind anyway.
