Sorry (Noob) Need Help please

Hello, new to the VB world, i love it so far! i had a few questions though to get started

how do i set it so threads dont get old, for example some of my forums have monthly old posts without replys so they seem to be invincible, this feature i do not like

also anyone know of ne good mods for site announcements because i would like to have something very visible to use for that maybe on the index as oppose to what they have right now just being the thread announcements

ALSO how do i enable quick reply? ;)

In Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager you can edit the Forums and at the top it says something like "Default Age of Posts to Show" and you can set that to show all posts, not just the ones within the last month. (I think that is what you were asking about?)

For Quick Reply, vboptions > Message Posting and Editing Options > Quick Reply - Yes (I'd suggest "Yes, click not required" but that's up to you)
