Editing banner

hey i have the template Blak-Ice and i was wondering if anybody could tell me how to edit the banners, like what line should i look for in the source, this way in the future i know how to edit them thanks!

You should request help for your custom style at the site you got it from, if it was released here in the styles forum, then post in that thread for support.

Most likely it would be in the header template.

i just want to replace the Template banner, with the banner that i have created. i dont know which line(s) to look for in order to change the Banner.

ok if u refer to the header banner, well go to the header template

Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager and then click the drop down menu next to your theme, choose Common Templates and you will get the header, headerinclude..etc templates... Now I don't know if your header includes your menu bar code...normally the navbar template handles that but sometimes template writers do it differently.

I ask you now...do you want to replace the entire design or just change the words in the header to your forum name etc.?

You should be asking this from were you purchased the skin, you cant edit the text itself as its an image, you should have gotten the PSD file with your skin, you will need photoshop to edit the image.

no, i have a completley different design im not trying to change the text at all.

Well you first post indicates that your using the black-ice, that is the style i see on your site as well, the logo at the top that you are calling a banner is a image, use the psd to modify it.
