I have mySQL 4.1 right now; would there be a reason to switch to 5.0 ?
Thanks

Not unless you wanted to for some reason.
I don't believe you'll have any issues with vBulletin, but there could possibly be plugin issues if you are really unlucky

the only thing I noticed was Goldbrick's mod for video urls will not work with 4.1

Well, nothing should go wrong with going to MySQL 5.0, and you'll probably benefit somewhat from upgrading.

is there an easy way to do this
my database is 83MB and godaddy will only let me import 2mb at a time into a new database

If you're already on 4.1, there's really no need to go to 5.0. I was referring to new installations.
