Core files?

Anybody know what these are? I woke up this morning to find that 2000 core files have been uploaded to my forum root since yesterday at around 7 in the morning.

Can anybody help me? They just keep on coming and they are around 5mb a piece!!

Core files? What are talking about? Filenames and recent changes might be helpful...

You need to give more details, although this doesn't sound like a vBulletin related error.
