View Full Version : Scheduled Task Manager Stopped Working ??

Hi,

We have a problem with our scheduled task manager in the admin CP.

It doesn't appear to be working correctly and hasn't run anything either from the 29th Feb or 1st March.

I first noticed the XBL Leaderboard Mod hadn't updated since the 7th March when i manually ran it myself, but now i'm looking in there and nothing has auto run since those dates?

Anyone got any ideas ??

Have you made any template changes to the footer recently?

The footer should contain something that looks like this:


<div class="smallfont" align="center">
<!-- Do not remove $cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->
$cronimage
<!-- Do not remove $cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->

$vboptions[copyrighttext]
</div>


If that "$cronimage" part is not there then none of your tasks will run. If it is there then it might be worth checking:

ACP -> Statistics & Logs -> Scheduled Task Logs

there may or may not be some errors in there

Just looked and the code is there in the footer.

Also checked in the Scheduled Task Log and theres no errors, just shows the dates and time they were last updated, which some are 1st march others are 29th Feb.

If i run something myself it sometimes works, but not on everything.
The hourly cleanup just says done, but the date doesn't change when it was last performed.

Anymore ideas??

Create a new style with no parent set. Now load your forumhome page a few times using this new style. Next check if any Scheduled Tasks have been ran automatically.

If not, i suggest you open a Support Ticket.
