This forum has just been launched and has undergone very little advertisement:
http://community.thinkteen.co.uk
Here's an excerpt from the main page:
ThinkTeen is currently run by a group of young people living in the area of Bournemouth, England. They started ThinkTeen as a community project when entering JPMorgan's ICT Competition. The idea started when a discussion started on the fact that there was no website that involved teenagers and support. The website contains many different support systems, ranging from homework help, to family matters. The difference being the fact that a group of young people have been trained in support, and the teenagers will be talking to people around their own age.
Another reason this started, was to create a safe and happy online community, that teenagers could use and feel safe with.
What do you think about the style of the forum? What things could we do to improve it?

lets see now , well , first the site is ok , not too great, can surely use some work , now the logo , you really need to work on that , looks like paint , im sure you can do better! , now again , i think it stretches too much out, maybe edit to 95% of width ?
can be better than what it is , 5/10.

Hi, ty for the evaluation :D. I can gladly say that the logo is being taken care of- I've got a much better logo in place. I agree with you about the width. I'm also working on a theme which will hopefully appeal to all guests.

vbSEO style is not a style, this is a default wrapper for people in need of inspiration.
you have too much forums listed for the content... not enough threads... so the forum looks empty. having less forums and adding more in the future when people come and ask for more space would be better...

Not bad, but there are things you are missing, for example you really need a better skin!

I'll try to remove some forums whilst adding more content :)

I can't seem to find a skin that suits everyone, I've got visioncollision but most of the staff don't like it :(

Nice Logo.
I agree with the comments above, more content is needed and possibly think about the skin?
Thanks, Paul.

I'm stuck with the skin, I don't know which one to use, but I can't seem to find any very suitable ones either :(

Why not have a custom made one?

Unless someone could make it for us for free, we don't have any money we could use, and are waiting for a grant.

Ah, I see. I doubt you'll get someone to make you one free, not a good one anyway.

I would like a second review of my forum located here: http://thinkteen.co.uk/forum
What do you think I could do to attract more visitors and as important, more members?
Please be as critical as you want - Offense will not be taken.
Thanks
