Hello

I got around 10.000 members on one of my forum after 9 months and now between 1000-3000 unique visitor each day. I still don't have any ads on my forum, but i'm thinking about putting some to pay the server etc. In your opinion, with those reasonable stats, how much can i hope to win monthly (with adsense or affiliaites, sponsors). i already hear "it depends" etc. but I m not asking more than an estimation.

Thx

Start off with Adsense and see if that covers the bills. If you are looking to just break even to pay bills, Adsense is great.

yeah but i would like and estimation about what i can hope more or less with that kind of stats. i don't want to bother my members if it's to win just 50 - 100 dollars each month

assuming 3k unqiues daily and a 1% CTR you could expect to make roughly $30-50 a month, depending on traffic quality, and how well you manage to get the ads targeted

For AdSense, it really depends upon your topic. If it's a pop culture forum, $.50 per thousand impressions may be reasonable. If it's a highly targeted and profitable niche, than $3.00 per thousand is very possible. These numb

If you can sell ads directly, you can get anywhere from $3 to $35 cpm. I would recommend trying to find one monthly or yearly sponsor to cover the whole site if you just want to cover your costs. $250 a month for a few hundred thousand pageviews is dirt cheap for most advertisers.
