Blinking Navbar Link , or color changing link ?

Hello folks, does anyone know of a code that will let me make a Navbar link blink/pulse on and off, increasing the visibility ? Or perhaps have it slowly change colors ?

you can use text-transform: blink; CSS property, but it only works in certain browsers.
