Losing People reading just a thread and leave

Hi!

I am asking myself, if I shouldn't change the footer of showthread.
Shouldn't there be links to the forum and the forum-home?

I believe, that most of the people are coming through search-engines and land directly in a showthread and not on forum-home.
And I believe, that they read a thread and miss all the links in the header (for forum, wiki, chat and more).
They will read till the end of the thread and then there's the point I should get them a big sign where they can chose to go back to the forum or forum-home.

What do you mean?
Has anybody made something like that?

I don't worry about the same problem, but I do put a Mini Navbar on the bottom of my page that has the Site Title and the Forum in it. Check it out, simply installation: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=125790

No, still not perfect ;)

Some people will need a "take me to the top"-Button.
I have to look out for a possibility to place that in the mini-navbar on the right hand side.
So, I've got something for everbody's needs.
