profile field ? can this done !

hi ,

there is a problem during registeration ., if some one try to register with username or email thats is in DB , the vb messege appears saying it was found and registeration stop .

i have some profile fields in registeration , info inside must be unique for each member .

i try to modify register.php with something like this :

if (db query that chack the profile field[x] value in profile field table) // x number of field
{

present -> stop

} .


but it is not work at all ,

any ideas please :) .

I'm no use at helping you modify the code, but perhaps if you use a spellchecker to be sure that the English words are spelled correctly (for example 'check' instead of 'chack') then maybe that would help you to refine your code? I can't even code in English so you are very brave to do it in a second language!

even English people can make one small spelling mistake that will make their code not work and sometimes only a small spelling error can make it all go wrong!
