switch forum display to vertical

I don't remember how to switch the way my forums threads are viewed, I want the side by side look not the up and down way you get when you originally install vbulletin.

Yea just go to Admin CP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings

go down to Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template and set it to yes.

how do you extend that part so that way usernames do not wrap after a certain amount of text?
