I want to achieve this effect (http://www.123olala.com/forum/member.php?u=1)(that is the shimmering rainbow effect on the user name of the user's profile) for certain user names on my forums.

I'd also like to achieve the effect you see here (http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/scripts/rainbowtext.html)(glowing rainbow text) with user names.

And this effect (http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/scripts/rainbow_links.html)(rainbow effect on mouseover). I've seen it on other vBulletin forums but how exactly are they doing this? Can anybody here explain it or at least provide a demonstration for it? There was a thread here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=108863) that explained a bit of the process but I can't work out what to do next. So, please if anyone can point me in the right direction to achieving these effects with user names or demonstrate it to me, I'd be very grateful. And please don't come in here telling me it's BBCode cos I'm pretty sure it's not.

Regards.

EDIT: I did a very thorough search for this information already and I couldn't find anything helpful enough to help me get what I want.

I would like this information as well

To be able to make a username rainbow coloured would be EXACTLY what I need.
