PM add-on? and no Upload feature?

Hey ive been asking a ton of questions today but this forum has been really really helpful. I was wondering if there's a PM mod i can add to my forum so that users can Privately Message eachother.

Also, I was wondering if there is a way to just let users chose their avatar via http instead of uploading an image to my server. i cant find a way to just block the upload but to let them use a picture they have on a different site. is there a way to do that?

umm you can try the built in private messaging feature. I serisously suggest taking 15-20 minutes looking around your forum software, you'll find all sorts of stuff you've been asking and you can save your time :)

If you want to block the upload of attachments from their computer and only make them choose via http instead, you'll have to edit a template and remove the code.

thanks frds you've been really helpful - im just a little overwhelmed with the massive amount of options vbulletin has. any idea where that PM option is? ive gone through everything a few times i never saw it

wow actually its been on the entire time, my users and i just cant figure out how to PM people yet.

AdminCP -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroups

Lots of options in there you'll notice, for sigs, avatars, attachments, and tons of other stuff.
