Many have asked and there is no security fix concluded for the old vbplaza.
I'm asking again for a tutorial on how to secure it.
Or a mod to fix it.
I've looked at the fixes mentioned in the forums but no one has concluded that there was or wasn't anymore.
I will not buy the new one because it is encrypted and I've been burnt too many times by encrypted scripts and left unsupported and money lost. Besides, I've already donated several times to the free one and now I have no support. And no one from vb.org has said whether or not they even know if the new one is fixed from security holes. But, they probably can't because it's a paid mod and it's encrypted:rolleyes: I'm not betting the farm again!
What would be great is if old mods that are no longer supported would auto become available for other authors to take over when abandoned here. I've suggested that at vb.com as well for here. I think less people want to download mods because so many become unsupported or not compatible with current vb versions. Me included.
Thanks*
