View Full Version : VBplaza doesn't work for custom usergroups

I recently created a custom usergroup, and now none of them can purchase gifts, ribbons, donate or view their bank in vbplaza. It just says "you are not allowed to purchase this item".

I've checked and double checked in the usergroup manager. I set "yes" to all the same vbplaza options that registered members have. I don't see anywhere where it will let me change the permissions so this new usergroup I created can use vbplaza.

Please help.

I'm using vb 3.6.4 and vbplaza 1.5.8

Uhh..I don't believe vBPlaza is supported anymore as there were major exploits found.

You seriously need to upgrade to the latest version.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

Urh 50 dollars per yr its expensive we already spended 160 dollars for vb..and need pay 50 dollars yearly for vbplaza...At this moment vbplaza 1.5.8 free right ?

If you guys have question toward vBPlaza. Your best answer to receive will be at the official site.

vB.org will not support these kinds of stuff nor members unless they have that install.

vbplaza 1.5.8 has SECURITY holes in it & cant be downloaded anymore, upgrade/disable it or you run the risk of getting HACKED.

I will upgrade IF offer free version ? Maybe u can say im cheap but..i pay 70 dollars for server monthly and 160 for vb....need pay 50 dollars again ? Im not a rich person tho .

We are just trying to point out that the version you run has some serious security issues. If you aren't going to upgrade, then please make sure you have database and file backups of your site. Also, if you do get hacked because of this security flaw, then be prepared to not get any help because my guess is they won't help you.
