Adsense after 1st post and before last?

I have seen this on a few forums, how can I add adsense ads after the FIRST post in each reply and before last post? They look like another post but is not and says "Sponsored Links".

I know its not the VB Admanagement mod because I asked, the forum guy I asked said it was a template edit.
Anyone know the template edit for this?

You can do this by editing the postbit or postbit_legacy template (vB <= 3.6.8) or use one of the new hook locations in vb 3.7
vB 3.7 has new template where you can directly fill in your Adsense code.
ADMINCP - STYLES & TEMPLATES - Choose your style - CHANGE TEMPLATES - ADD LOCATION - ad_showthread_firstpost
If you fill in something in this template the content will be shown after each first post.
